Saturday May 18th 3pm Historic Chapel Hall Fellowship Artists of the Boulder Bach Festival present An Afternoon of Italian Music. The Musicians Rebecca Myers, mezzo-soprano Magee Capsouto, Brune Macary, and Jennifer Diaz Spera, baroque violins Renée Hemsing, baroque viola Joseph Howe, baroque cello Brett Armstrong, double bass Wesley Leffingwell, chamber organ Zachary Carrettín, music director and baroque violin Performed on period string instruments.

Colorado MahlerFest Chamber Music Concert

Friday May 17 - Bruckner's String Quintet at The Academ 2pm Historic Chapel Hall Anton Bruckner was an important figure in Mahler's formative years - a teacher, friend and mentor who helped pave the way for Mahler's symphonic innovations through his structural and harmonic audacity. MahlerFest XXXII's second chamber concert in the acoustically superb main hall of the Academy features Bruckner's lone chamber work, his touching and grand String Quintet, featuring five of our Festival Artists.
