New Experiences

What new experiences have you always wished for? Try your hand at oil painting, audit a foreign language class, or just take time for peaceful quiet and contemplation. What interests you? Whether it's books, movies, art, bridge, theater, sports... you name it... we provide a multitude of choices for meaningful living. Because we are such a small community, many of our programs and activities can be tailored to meet your individual tastes and interests.

From the time you wake up each morning, opportunities beckon. Begin every day with a breakfast buffet in the Piñons Dining Room, or prepare your own breakfast in your well-equipped kitchen. Then linger over coffee as you gaze at beautiful views.

What would you like to do today? A walk on our garden paths or on Boulder's mountain trails just two blocks away? A spirited round of bridge or discussion with friends in your book group? A poetry reading? A chamber music concert in our beautiful historic auditorium? An excursion to southern Colorado to see the migration of the sand Hill Cranes? Or just sitting back and enjoying the magnificent view?

Looking to expand your horizons? Attend our on-site lecture series, chamber music concerts, dance and musical performances, poetry writing workshops, art classes, and intriguing discussion forums. Or, if you prefer, audit a class or attend performances and sports events at CU. Or the beauty of a Colorado day may inspire you to walk on mountain trails just outside your door.
