Thank you for visiting The Academy's web site. We are excited to share The Academy experience with you, and hope we can give you a sense of what a special community this is.

The Academy is locally owned and operated. There are four owners, all of whom have ties to the Boulder community. Our mothers live, or have lived, at The Academy. The Academy is a passion for us, and we are very "hands-on" in The Academy's operations.

Eighteen years ago we decided to create a retirement community unlike any other. From our very small size, to our incomparable personal services and four-star quality cuisine, to the elegance and beauty of our surroundings, we believe The Academy is extraordinary.

Many residents of The Academy have searched throughout the United States and have concluded that The Academy is truly a one-of-a-kind community. While we, as owners, are pleased to have created this special place, we believe that the remarkable thing about The Academy is the way in which this community has evolved as a result of the extraordinary people who live and work here. Over time, every community develops its own personality that emerges from the collective vision and identities of all those who are part of the community.
